Welcome to Gulf Front
There are two gulf front areas on Marco Island, one near South Beach and the other near Tigertail Beach. The one near South Beach (on Crescent Beach) is at the southernmost point of the island where Collier Boulevard ends and Collier Court begins. South Beach begins south of Residents’ Beach and ends at this point. The gulf front properties near South Beach are low rise, mid-rise and high-rise condominiums. These condominiums are gulf front, but are not beachfront. South Beach is the most prestigious beach on Marco Island. It is groomed daily. The closest South Beach public access is to the left of the Apollo (Collier/Swallow). There are also a handful of gulf front properties near Tigertail Beach and unlike South Beach, these few properties are single-family homes as well as a couple vacant residential lots. The Tigertail Beach is the most eco-friendly on the island. It has a lagoon and has dense trees and foliage preceding the beach area. It has great shelling and is left in its natural state (unlike Crescent Beach that is groomed every day). There is a public beach access at Hernando/Spinnaker.
