GIVING BACK

After graduating from college, Elizabeth toured as a professional vocalist performing in many leading roles and concert performances throughout the U.S. and Europe. She felt a calling to help give other singers of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to follow their musical dreams. In 2011, Elizabeth was appointed as the General/Artistic Director of the NY Lyric Opera Theatre, where she developed the company's international summer music program, vocal competition, and season. She had produced over 300 shows in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the National Opera Center, many of which were performed before sold-out audiences. Shortly thereafter, Mark joined the NY Lyric’s Board of Directors. They together produced another 60 shows. With his past experience as a fund-raising volunteer for high school sports and music programs, Mark was an integral part of the audition location expansion for the NY Lyric across America. The expansion included top universities, such as Northwestern University, New England Conservatory of Music, and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. A strong believer in giving back to the community, Elizabeth has volunteered for many organizations, including the Junior League and Salvation Army, and has sung in numerous hospitals, nursing homes, and inner-city schools.

PERSONAL

Elizabeth and Mark met at the Marco Island Association of REALTORS®. They fell in love and were married. Although they have lived in condos on both North and South Beach in Marco Island, they have recently completed their new construction home in South Beach. They love the outdoor lifestyle Marco Island has to offer. Living so close to the beach, they enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and walks on the beach. Bicycling, boating, and golfing are a few other things they love to do in their free time.
