Welcome to Old Marco
Rich in history, Old Marco is the most historic section of Marco Island. The Olde Marco Inn was established by Captain William T. Collier and his son in 1883. The Shops of Olde Marco and the inn create a flashback in time for its visitors. The buildings have been restored and now include various restaurants, a bakery and spa.
In addition, there are several galleries and a local watering hole with outdoor space for live music. The famous Snook Inn, a tiki restaurant, and Marek’s (Captain Collier’s home from 1882) are nearby. This area is one of the quickest ways by boat to the Gulf and to Naples. Residential real estate in this area consists mainly of inland and water direct condos and single-family homes. Although many new construction homes are being built in Old Marco, you will still find some original Deltona homes as well. It is approximately three miles to the beach.
